Fire Stopping
ALL TRADES CONTRACTING is known for our quality of workmanship in the commercial and industrial renovation industry. We work to the lastest building and fire codes as required but have gone the next step in fire protection. ATC now has certified technicians trained in the latest application of Hilti firestop materials. As many of you know, once a fire wall has been penetrated by any person working on construction it is very important to repair the area. Just sticking a piece of insulation or some other material in the hole is not enough. If a wall is fire rated, then the penetration cannot compromise the area. With our training and knowledge as well as a wealth of factory backup we are able to reccommend and install the correct product for the job. Sometimes just using a fire rated caulk is sufficient , but in other cases sleeves and other fillers are required. If the wall is rated for 20 minutes or 1 hour, it is important that the firestopping is rated also.
