JUNE 1st 2006, Concrete Cutting
Beginning Jun 1st, 2006, ALL TRADES CONTRACTING will be adding to its list of many services, a concrete cutting team. The tools are here, the staff is trained and we are cutting concrete. The pride of the new fleet of tools is the chain saw that will cut through the toughest concrete and re-bar up to 15" thick. Concrete block is as simple as cutting through a wooden wall. Other saws include a 24" wall saw guided by track layed out prior to cutting. The same 24" saw can be mounted to a cart for floor cuts and has been proven to be very productive in the sawing of 1000's of feet of floors recently. The new saw was recently used in the renovations of the 3 Safeway's Stores in Thunder Bay as well as Confederation College. All of the cutting equipment is operated hydraulically, from a remote area to eliminate exhaust fumes. Less noise and a clean working environment is the big advantage to using this equipment. The lack of dust is another big advantage as the cutting blade runs in water that is easily cleaned up as the saw travels along.
